Looking at her they said she looks beautiful and innocent,
That silly girl believed them,
While gossiping they said darkness is hiding behind her innocence,
That silly girl kept smiling.
While busy pleasing them, she lost her charm,
That silly girl still believed in spreading smile.
They started expecting more and more,
That silly girl tried to give everything she could.
They said she is responsible & understanding,
That silly girl again believed them.
They started trapping her with rules & regulations,
That silly girl wanted to spread her wings and fly.
Her fake smile made them assume she is happy,
But deep inside that silly girl kept struggling with her tears.
After fighting for years, she broke the cage,
She thought she won the battle of happiness.
That silly girl didn’t know she was being tagged as selfish,
Thinking about them, that silly girl once again lost her smile.
This time, with all the hatred they said she is ugly & mean,
With a tear in her eye, that silly girl again believed them.
